About Pete & Ed Gifts

Pete & Ed Gifts specializes in unique outdoor recreation (bicycling, canoeing, climbing, skiing, and windsurfing) themed gift items. Pete Benner & Ed Pope began selling books at bicycle rides in Indiana in 1993, giving rise to Pete & Ed Books. At the end of 2000, we bought the remaining inventory of Biker Up! - one of the other vendors who frequently attended major Midwestern bicycle rides.

Since then we have greatly increased our product offerings. At the start of 2003, we began offering canoeing, climbing, skiing and windsurfing items in addition to bicycling gifts. In 2004 we added hiking gifts to our lineup.

Christmas ornaments have always been our best-selling gift items, and our customers always seem to be delighted with them. Therefore we launched Fun-Christmas-Ornaments.com in 2006, which focuses on Christmas ornaments for all sorts of fun activities.

Today we continue to add products to our web sites, and our goal is to have the best collection of outdoor recreation gift items available anywhere, just as our Pete & Ed Books site offers an extensive selection of outdoor books & videos.
